Born in Colombia and now based in Montréal, Maria completed her Bachelor of Science in Athletic Therapy. She has a strong passion for helping people understand their bodies, recover from injuries, and feel confident in how they move both in daily life and in sport.
During her studies, Maria gained experience in a variety of environments, including the CF Montréal Academy (MLS Next), Karate Québec, and D1 collegiate basketball at Collège Brébeuf and Édouard-Montpetit. She continues to work at Collège Brébeuf, supporting athletes with on-field care, injury management, and structured return-to-play planning. Her background in strength and conditioning, as well as nutrition coaching in gym settings, adds depth to her understanding of athletic performance and the demands placed on active individuals.
Maria works with individuals of all levels, from gym-goers to recreational and elite athletes with a focus on building strong, capable, and resilient bodies. Her approach emphasizes education and exercise-based rehabilitation, with manual therapy integrated when needed. She takes the time to explain the “why” behind each step and ensures every client feels supported throughout their progress.
Her goal is simple: to help people move better, perform better, and feel better while meeting them exactly where they are.
