Acumen Reconditioning had the pleasure of hosting Somatic Senses’ Neurodynamics Course in their Acumen Health Calgary location the weekend of October 1-2, 2022.
The course was taught by Dr. Michael Maxwell & Michael Shacklock.
Neurodynamics is a concept that looks at diagnosing and treating many musculoskeletal syndromes with a neural component. This can be very helpful in the reconditioning world as it will give us tools when working with people who have lower pain tolerances or have been dealing with chronic pain due to former injury.
It is broken down into upper quadrant & lower quadrant as they go through various testing & treatment techniques.
The course was attended by 22 participants and it had a split of 65% practical & 35% theoretical.
